Essential Mobile Repairing Tool kit.
How to Use Mobile Repairing Tools Correctly.
Professional Tool Kits Available at Our Institute.
- Basic Starter Kit: Includes magnetic screwdrivers, opening tools, Mobile phones use very small, specific screws. You cannot use standard household screwdrivers..
- Advanced Pro Kit: Features a temperature-controlled Soldering Station, Hot Air Gun, and DC Supply.
- Software Dongles: We also stock the latest software boxes for flashing and unlocking devices.
Soldering station: A fine-tip temperature-adjustable soldering iron known as soldering station for fine work on mobile phone motherboard.
Solder Wire: Preferably 63/37 leaded solder (easier to work with) or lead-free solder.
Flux: Essential for cleaning metal surfaces and helping solder flow. Use good quality Paste, flux for soldering.
Solder Wick wire: (De-soldering Braid) Copper braid used to soak up excess solder.
Soldering Station, (Hot air gun) Heat Gun / Hot Air Station: For removing more leg soldered parts, IC, re-balling IC chips (Basic repair can start with a standard heat gun.
### 4. Tweezers (Precision Handling)
* **Straight Fine-Tip Tweezers (ESD Safe):** For holding tiny screws and placing small components.
* **Curved Tip Tweezers:** Useful for gripping components at awkward angles.
* **ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) Safe:** Ensure they are anti-static so you don’t shock the motherboard.
### 5. Cleaning & Maintenance
* **Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA):** 90% or higher purity. Used to clean sticky residues, old adhesive, and corrosion.
* **Cotton Swabs / Lint-Free Wipes:** For applying alcohol and cleaning boards.
* **Brush:** A small, stiff brush (like a toothbrush) for scrubbing corrosion on motherboards.
### 6. Testing Equipment
* **Digital Multimeter:** The most important tool for diagnosing faults. Used to check voltage, continuity, and short circuits.
* **USB Ammeter (USB Doctor):** Plugs between the phone and charger to see if the phone is drawing current (helps diagnose charging issues).
### 7. Adhesives & Consumables
* **Double-Sided Tape:** Thin tape for holding batteries and screens.
* **B-7000 or T-7000 Glue:** Industry-standard glue for re-sealing glass and screens.
* **Thermal Paste:** For transferring heat away from processors (mostly used during reballing, but good to have).
### 8. Organization & Safety
* **Magnetic Mat / Screw Tray:** Vital for keeping track of where each screw goes. Screws vary in length; putting a long screw in a short hole can destroy a motherboard (“Long Screw Damage”).
* **ESD Wrist Strap:** Grounds you to prevent static shock from damaging the phone.
* **Magnifying Glass / Loupe:** To see tiny component numbers or hairline cracks.
* **Work Light / Desk Lamp:** Bright, adjustable lighting is crucial.
